The Fort St. John RCMP have provided a little more information on a one-vehicle accident on the Alaska Highway on Monday.

The detachment says a northbound tanker unit left the roadway amid heavy snow and poor visibility.

The tractor trailer went into the ditch, and overturned, though the driver is reported to be uninjured.

Police say the road has been reduced to single-lane alternating traffic, with a complete closure expected, when a crane arrives the haul the tanker out of the ditch.

So, the RCMP advise that drivers prepare for delays in the area, about 10 kilometres north of Wonowon.

The detachment also says there are slippery sections all over the highway, due to the recent snowfall, meaning drivers should reduce speeds, and drive carefully.

I'll beat Mary Sehn to

I'll beat Mary Sehn to it...maybe the driver was under the influence of MARIJUANA...this highly addictive substance had been know to cause delusions and psychosis in people driving vehicles...(of course I am not serious lol).

@Del

I laughed so hard you have no idea. On a more serious note, glad everyone was okay.

Del

OK...That made my day! I had such a laugh, people where thinking I maybe under the influence of something. I too am glad no one was injured.

How long does THC stay in your..

How long does it take for the body to rid itself of THC? A week, two weeks? What are Flash backs? How long will the fat from the burger be near your heart? Chemistry 101!

ice

That road looks like a skating rink!

Some Alcoholics experience Blackouts!

Are you aware that some alcoholics experience "blackouts" which can occur during times when not drinking. A person can be sober and suffer a blackout. Blackouts can occur to some people who drink at any time, driving, working or at any other waking moment. Do drug dealers make the purchaser aware of side effects?

MAYBE.......

Or maybe it just could have been from the ice that is all over the road??? Just a thought.

Mary

Mary you should really stop assuming every accident and tragedy is drug related and assuming the person is a acoholic drug addict. That is very closed minded and judgemental of the person involved.
