Charges laid after Hudson's Hope accident
One person has been charged after a single vehicle rollover near Hudsons’s Hope.Â
The Hudson’s Hope RCMP responded to the accident scene at 1pm on Sunday, July 4 near Lynx Creek. Four males were traveling in a pickup truck back to Fort St. John when the driver lost control and hit a hydro poll. The truck then caught fire.
All four managed to escape the accident with only minor injuries. The driver of the truck is now facing several charges as speed and alcohol are considered to be a factor in the accident.
The accident caused delays on Sunday on Highway 29 as crews tried to remove the vehicle from the ditch.
