South Peace buffalo shootings
They are hardly in the legend’s league of Wyatt Earp, Bat Masterson, Pat Garrett, Wild Bill Hickok or William F. Cody.
However, Buffalo hunters have reportedly struck again in the South Peace.
The Dawson Creek RCMP says an Arras Buffalo rancher returned home this week, to discover three of his animals had been shot.
He found one of them dead in a creek bed and two others wounded by gunfire.
Police say this isn’t the first time his livestock has been targeted, but there’s still no known motive for the shootings.
Police investigation continues.
