HUDSON’S HOPE, B.C. — The Emergency Support Services (ESS) team in Hudson’s Hope is assembling a list of residents who require extra assistance in the case of a wildfire evacuation.

According to a letter from ESS Director Kelsey Shewfelt, they want this list to include individuals with mobility challenges, limited access to technology, those lacking a support system, and residents with limited transportation options.

“Giving this information will allow us to ensure these individuals will receive the necessary assistance in the event of an evacuation,” the statement reads.
