SPCA Wishlist

Here's some of the things we need.... would you like to help? Every little bit helps!

•  $$$ Donations can be made at the shelter or at Peace River Building We can then purchase supplies that we may need at the time, including the right type of food. Even if you can't pitch in a lot, your donation, along with others will help us get what we need.
  
• Volunteers in ANY capacity- long term or short term. Dog walkers are always needed especially while we are full, or during holidays when some of our regular walkers are away!
  

•  (Please see staff for waiver/info form). If our public hours don't work for you, ask about morning walks, or come on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8pm.
  

• Non-clumping cat litter

• Bleach, liquid laundry detergent for front loader machine, hand soap, brown paper towels
  
  
• Rubbermaid totes- larger types

• Dish soap

• Stuffed toys or dog toys (if you can remove the eyes/noses/rattles, that would be great).

• Strong nylon leashes (preferably long) and collars.
  

• Live animal trap (or donation toward one)

• Mop buckets
  

• Good foster home for special needs pets or for overflow when we are full. The time commitment MAY be long or short.
  

• Help with yard work/building repairs (something is always falling apart).
  

• Gravel and clean fill for building up back yard (it is terribly muddy and wet in the spring). Even if you have an affordable solution, we'd love to hear it.

Our hours are not the greatest for public viewing, but if you have something you need to drop off, please feel free to contact the shelter at 250-785-7722 to make arrangements to come at any time a staff member is present.

Sunday-Afternoon Dog walking 3:30-5:00 pm

Monday: 12-2:30pm 

Tuesday: (closed for cleaning during the day)

Tuesday-Evening dog walking from 7:00-8pm

Wednesday: 12-3pm

Thursday: 12-3pm

Friday: 12-3pm

Saturday: 12-2:30pm
