Denny & Jay Morrison qualify for Canadian World Cup team this Winter

Both Fort St. John athletes Denny and Jay Morrison have qualified for the 2009 Canadian Speedskating World Cup circuit.
The brothers have qualified for the following races:
Men – 500m
Denny Morrison
Men – 1000m
Denny Morrison (pre-selected)
Men – 1500m
Denny Morrison
Men – 5000m
Denny Morrison
Jay Morrison
Men – 10000m
Jay Morrison
Team Pursuit
Jay Morrison (pre-qualified)
Denny Morrison
Qualified for the World Sprint Championships are Christine Nesbitt, Brittany Schussler and Shannon Rempel for the ladies and Denny Morrison, Jamie Gregg and Kyle Parrot for the men. Final selection will also be confirmed by Speed Skating Canada this weekend.
