Fort St. John received about 9 millimeters of rain during the weekend raising the June precipitation total, to 23 point two.

However, that still leaves the half month total at less than one third of the monthly norm, of 71 point four millimeters.

Still, this is a month when the total can rise quickly as it did June 27th of 1965, when Fort St. John recorded its all time daily rainfall record, of 80 point three millimeters.

June snow is also not out of the question in this area, with nearly 12 centimeters recorded on first day of this month in 1976.
