Three new cases of COVID-19 reported in Grande Prairie

GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. - Alberta Health is reporting three new positive cases of COVID-19 in Grande Prairie.

RCMP say the child whose disappearance prompted an Ambert Alert has been found.

Police in Courtenay, B.C., issued the alert Tuesday afternoon and shortly afterwards a public tip lead them to Shyanne. She was found in Victoria.

Police were trying to locate a 10-year-old girl who they say may have been abducted in the Cumberland area.

Within a few hours of issuing the alert for Shyanne Dawn Carto, police said the girl had been recovered safely.
