The Fort St. John Paladin Black Sox found a measure of revenge against the Rycroft Rage. After losing 6-4 to the Rage on Saturday, the Black Sox came storming back to beat Rycroft at home.

The two teams exchanged runs in the first inning. In the second the Rage scored their second run. In the fourth Rycroft added 3 more for a 5-1 lead. Fort St John’s comeback started in the fifth with two outs and the bases loaded.

Back to back doubles by Ryan Stickel and Brett Loney tied the game at five each. Kyle Porter then singled home Brett Loney with the game winning RBI.

In the 6th the Sox tacked on three more runs for a 9-5 victory.

Ryan Stickel got the win, pitching a complete game, his second one in three days. Offensively, it was the 2,3,4 hitters of Danny Pappin, Stickel, and Loney that did much of the damage. Brett Loney hit a couple of big doubles into a strong wind. Newcomer Jeff Shipton made a couple of impressive catches in left field to help preserve the victory.
