Forty-one year-old Hugh Sinclair is still batting 1.000 in Calgary, as he surprised the veteran Kelly Sutherland and took the Rangeland Derby championship heat last night. He also took the day money from the #1 one barrel position with a time of 1:14.56, to capture his fourth Calgary championship race in as many tries.

Meanwhile, Fort St. John’s Delano Kjos earlier won the Novice Saddle Bronc title for the second year in a row. He had a combined score of 154 in his final two rides.
