Concerns with the use of City equipment

Councillor Larry Evans has voiced his concerns regarding the City’s new policy about lending City equipment. Last month, Council decided to no longer allow community groups to use City equipment for a small fee. Councillor Evans says he doesn’t agree with the new policy.

City Manager Diane Hunter has a different view, as community groups can still petition the city for a donation. The Directory of Community Services will have a full report on the new policy for City Council at next Monday’s meeting.
