Day Three is in the books at the B.C. Amateur Golf Championship. Day 1 and 2 leader Adam Hadwin shot a 5 over par 75 to fall to 2 over, and 6th place overall.

Seventeen year-old Eugene Wong, who recently became the first Canadian ever to win the Junior Boys’ title at the World Junior Golf championship, is now in the lead. Wong shot a 68 today, his third sub-par round, to move to 4 under par and sole possession of the lead heading into the final round on Friday.

Two Fort St. John golfers are still in the mix. Travis Eggers shot a 79 today, to drop to a tie for 46th, while Adam Henning shot a 75, to move past Eggers and into a tie for 40th.

The final round at the Championship gets underway on Friday, at the Marine Drive Golf Club in Vancouver.
