The Fort St. John RCMP say two fires they believe were intentionally set last weekend destroyed a Doig River First Nation’s community residence and nearby parked vehicle. There were no injuries reported in the fires, which were reported about 4:15 pm Saturday.

There’s no word yet on the fires’ cause or origin but police say their investigation has led them to believe they are looking for one suspect. To that end they’re taking public information assistance calls, at both the local detachment and crime stoppers numbers…250-787-8140 and 1-800-222-8477.
