The Fort St. John production of American Buffalo will take the stage Friday night at 8 pm in Nanaimo. The three actors in the play, Morris Holmes, Kris Przednowek and Jim Peltier, performed this show at the Peace River Zone Festival this May in Dawson Creek.

The win there gave them the opportunity to head to Mainstage.

Last year Stage North sent down a production called The Monument. The backstage crew of The Monument was honoured by receiving the award for Best Backstage Co-ordination, whileKris Przednowek and Laura Doray won the award for Best Ensemble andTerry Boyle was recognized as Best Director. The Monument also receivedBest Production, the highest award available at Mainstage.

Awards from this year’s Mainstage will be handed out Saturday night at a ceremony in Nanaimo. Good luck to everyone from Stage North at Mainstage 2008!
