A 22 year-old man from the Beaumont area was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 43 near Wembley last night. The man’s Dodge pickup truck collided with a semi-transport unit around 9:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital in Grande Prairie. The male driver of the other vehicle was sent to Beaverlodge Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. RCMP are not releasing the dead man’s name until next-of-kin are notified. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
