A 17 year old Edmonton boy, who faces a second degree murder charge, is scheduled to be back in Fort St. John court today. He’s currently being held in juvenile detention in Prince George charged in connection with the stabbing death of a 17-year old Edmonton girl. Her body was found by the RCMP, in a Fort St. John apartment on May 18th.

There have been reports the incident may have Alberta-based gang and drug trafficking connections. However, there’s has been nothing from police to support those allegations.

It’s anticipated that today’s court proceedings will be focused on a bail application.
