The Paladin Black Sox played a last-minute makeup game last night at home, against the Grande Prairie Cougars.

The Sox sent Justin Bolog to the mound, his first start in awhile after struggling with a shoulder injury for much of the season. The team gave Bolog a great start, earning a 4-0 lead after one inning. The game slowed down from there, but Bolog and the rest of the D did what they needed to, and the Sox emerged as 6-3 winners.

The regular season is over for the Sox, but they’re in a battle for third place, and the results of makeup games could prove key in determining seeding for the 4-team playoffs. The Sox still have one more game they hope to make up, against the Wanham Wildcats.
