The fire was in an area beside Wal-Mart where the store keeps its cardboard boxes. An individual or individuals lit the used cardboard on fire. The Fire Department was able to put the fire out but it took quite a bit of work as firefighters had to separate each piece of cardboard to make sure the fire was completely extinguished. Only the boxes were damaged.

The RCMP are looking for any information the public may have regarding this fire. Contact the RCMP at 787-8140 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
