Both planes made the emergency landings over the lunch hour Sunday after reports of smoke in the cabin. YVR spokesperson Kate Donegani says the first one landed safetly shortly after noon and the other landed safetly at approximately 12:14.

The first flight was carrying 14 people, while the second had 15 passengers. Once the planes landed there was no sign of smoke and the source of the smell remains a mystery.
