About 2,000 BC Hydro customers are currently without power. There are several power outages effecting regions North and East of Fort St. John. Bob Gamer is with BC Hydro and he says the cause is still under investigation.

Hydro currently says they hope to have power restored by 8:00pm. Here are the area’s affected by the outage:

East-West of the Alaska Highway, South of 262 Road, North of 240 Road – Should now be restored by 8pm

South of the 196 Road, North-East-West of Loop Road – Should be restored by 8pm
