BC NDP Dropouts

N-D-P Leader Carole James has plugged some holes in her shadow cabinet, caused by the planned departure, of at least five M-L-A’s, next year.
Corky Evans, David Chudnovsky and David Cubberley are among those who’ve decided they won’t run in the next election.
Mr. Evans’ old job in agriculture has been assumed, by Charlie Wyse and Mr. Chudnovky’s post on the homeless goes to Jenny Kwan.
Norm Macdonald takes over the education responsibilities from Mr. Cubberley.
He and Mr. Chudnovsky represent Victoria and Vancouver ridings respectively and are the latest two party incumbents to announce their quitting.
Their leader’s response fell into the old stiff upper lip category…

The number of NDP incumbents is now down to 28 and there is a growing number of pundits, suggesting rather than threatening the ruling Liberals, the New Democrats will do well, just to stay ahead of the Green Party.
