The area where Clayton went missing on Friday afternoon is about 3 to 4 km up the Pine River from where the Pine and the Peace meet.

The search was called off last night because of a lack of daylight and resumed first thing this morning.

Once again the RCMP are asking boaters to stay away from the search area, as any extra boat traffic will make the search underwater more difficult. Any boat traffic in the area of the Pine and the Peace River will be stopped. The RCMP appoligize for the inconvenience.
