When they arrived they discovered that the residence was fully involved with fire spreading into the remainder of the structure. The Department was able to stop the spread of the fire and before the main floor became totally involved.

There were 3 adults and a young child at home at the time of the fire whom they were able to evacuate from the structure.

The intensity of the fire had already caused fire damage to the neighboring structure which resulted in that family also having to evacuate.

At the moment the fire is being treated as suspicious and is under investigation by the Fire Department and the RCMP.
