The Family of Clayton Russ still hold out hope for his return

Family and friends have started a group asking for local residents prayers for the safe return of Clayton Russ.

The Group on the website Facebook already has a number of friends and family sending their prayers to Clayton and his family.

Clayton Russ went missing Friday afternoon while swimming on the Pine River near where the Peace and the Pine meet. Search and Rescue crews search from Friday afternoon until Monday when at 2:30pm the search was suspended.

The RCMP Dive team used sonar to try and locate Clayton and BC Hydro even lowered the level of the water in the Peace River on Monday to about a quarter of what it normally is.

North Peace Search and Rescue will resume their search for Clatyon Russ later this week.
