Some good news from the Fort St. John Blue Jays midget fastball team. 2 of their players – Kory Bell, who’s a pitcher, and Blair Campbell, who’s a centre fielder, will both be heading to Victoria this weekend to tryout for the under-19 team BC. Those tryouts go this weekend and again in two weeks. They will resume in the Spring, at which point the injured Cody Hildebrand will also be in the mix.
The guys are trying out in hopes of making the provincial team that will travel to PEI next July.

The Blue Jays who won the ‘B’ division at provincials over the summer, and then made it to the final of the western Canadian Championships – and now, we’ve heard that two of those players,
