The Blizzards are bringing home 8 BC Seniors Games from cycling competition in Prince George, this past weekend. Bill Lindsay has three golds, Richard Wood two golds and a silver and Gord íThe Hammerí Harris has a silver and a bronze.

First event was a 14 km time trial. Richard Wood won the gold in the 60-64 age competitive class with a time of 23:44. Bill Lindsay won the 60-64 Novice class at 28:18. Gord ëthe Hammerí Harris was bronze at 23:03 in the 55-59 competitive class, missing the silver by only one second! The fastest TT time of the day was set by Ray Morrison of the Okanagan region with a time of 21:16

Next up was the tough, hilly road race. Richard Wood and Bill Lindsay both were both gold in the road race event with a 4th place to theí Hammerí.

Last event was a 4 km Foothills hill climb featuring a 7.5 percent grade. Bill Lindsay was gold at 20:30, Richard Wood silver at 14:05 and Gord Harris Silver at 11:52. Fastest time of the day was an 11:03.

The Blizzard riders to date have collected 51 medals from Seniors Games competition.

The Senior Games next will be held in Richmond B.C in 2009.
