Grande Prairie RCMP discovered a body near a burning vehicle Saturday.

Shortly after midnight, emergency crews responded to reports of a burning Dodge Caravan parked behind a tree on Resources Road.

At this point the RCMP won’t speculate on the cause of death and where the body was found. Once an autopsy is complete they hope to identify the body.
