The Chetwynd RCMP are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man that may have witnessed a theft of dynamite between July 15th and July 16th, 2008.

Sometime during that night, thieves broke open two locked magazines and made off with a 400 kg of Vibrogel Dynamite sticks and detonation caps from the Sukunka Forest Service Road near Chetwynd.

The attached sketch is an artist’s drawing of the witness, as described by another witness in the area of the theft. Police are asking that the man in the sketch or anyone that recognizes the man in the sketch, to contact your local detachment of the RCMP or call Crime Stoppers at (800)222-TIPS (8477).
