South Peace Traffic Services is continuing to investigate a crash near Dawson Creek that killed one man.

Just before 4:00 a.m. this morning, police discovered a Ford pick-up turned over in a field about one kilometre east of Dawson Creek just off Highway 49.

The driver was found ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe he was the only occupant of the vehicle.

The accident reduced Highway 49 to single lane traffic for several hours. The scene is currently being examined by police traffic analysts.
