Members of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation are in town from September 10th to 14th to raise awareness of the facts surrounding breast cancer.

Fort St. John is just one stop on the foundation’s "Telus Tour for the Cure," an initiative to bring information about breast cancer to communities across British Columbia. The tour’s stop in Fort St. John kicked off September 10th at the Totem Mall, with interactive displays, health panels, and a direct telephone line to the province’s Screening Mammography Program, so visitors can book an appointment for a mammogram on the spot.

Priscilla Fasakas with the tour says that the exhibit will offer valuable information to all members of the community—even men. [asset|aid=246|format=mp3player|formatter=asset_bonus|title=Priscilla Fazakas – Mammogram_1_Pub.mp3]
