A 61 year old man was found in the middle of a field, unconscious behind the wheel of his truck.

Several motorists near Wembly Alberta discovered the man on Monday. Once paramedics arrived they pronounced him dead at the scene. The RCMP have reported that the vehicle had noticeable damage.

The vehicle was discovered near the Red Willow River Bridge on Highway 272 near Wembley at about 2pm Monday afternoon.

The RCMP have said the victim is from the Wembly area and he was the only one in the pickup truck. The investigation continues and the man’s name has not been released.
