The Terry Fox run goes on Sunday nationwide, with the local run slated for 2 pm starting at the rec centre.

The Terry Fox Run raises money for cancer every year (all types of cancer) so if you would like to help raise some cash, you can download pledge forms at terryfoxrun.org.

Now, if you are in the mood on Sunday, but haven’t raised any money, that’s ok – you can come out and just do the run in tribute to a great Canadian.

It’s free to take part in the run, registration is at 1, with the run starting at 2 pm – and there’s a 1 k, a 5 k, and a 10 k distance available.
