In Alberta there’s police confirmation that a 79-year-old Fort St. John man is dead following a two-vehicle crash near Fox Creek.

The deceased driver of a Honda Civic has been identified as Percy Prestwich. Latest reports indicate the crash occurred on Highway 43, about 40 kilometers north of Fox Creek late last Friday afternoon. A 60 year old Edson man driving the pickup suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was flown by STARS air ambulance to Grande Prairie hospital, and later transferred to Edmonton.
