The RCMP is out with another warning to Peace country residents about the dangers of leaving unlocked parked vehicles with valuables inside.

The Dawson Creek detachment says there has been a rash of vehicular thefts in both that city and Fort St. John in the past two weeks. It says in most cases the vehicles have been left unlocked, and cash and other valuables left inside have been stolen. It says there is no firm pattern to the recent thefts as they have occurred in both downtown and residential sectors of both cities.

Thus, to assist police, the public is also being asked again to report any suspcious activity which could be related to possible vehicular thefts.
