Police are asking motorists travelling near Mile 120 of the Alaska Highway to use alternate routes as the highway is closed at this time.

Emergency services are currently on the scene of an accident on that part of the Alaska Highway involving a tractor trailer unit and a pickup truck.

No further details are being released at this time. Police say they will update the public on the situation again at 4:00pm today.
