The National Energy Board has approved the expansion of Duke Energy’s Fort Nelson Mainline. The project calls for the addition of two and half miles of 36-inch diameter pipeline on the north end of Duke’s compressor station, nearly ten miles north of Beryl Prairie. The increase in transportation service is expected to meet the immediate needs of producers in the Fort Nelson area…where they’re achieving considerable success in adding new reserves and production. And, speaking of adding new reserves, the next monthly sale of oil and gas rights in BC is set for October 15th.
