The turbine was fully assembled Monday at the construction site about 50km northwest of Chetwynd. This was the first of 7 turbines that will be installed in 2008 with the remaining 41 to be installed in 2009.

The first 7 turbines should be providing power to BC homes in early 2009. When the first turbine is up and running it is expected to provide enough to power 700 homes. By the end of 2009 there should be enough power created by the entire project to power 33,000 typical BC homes.
