One man is facing charges after the RCMP executed a high-risk takedown Saturday morning on a suspected drug house in Grande Prairie.
The Emergency Response Team and Mounties raided a home in the south end of the city, armed with a high-risk search warrant.
Inside the home, police seized a 9-millimeter handgun, a 12-gauge shotgun, over nine thousand dollars in cash and, seven and half grams of cocaine.
A 23-year-old resident of the home has been slapped with numerous drug- and firearms-related charges.
He was released from custody but, was scheduled to appear in Grande Prairie provincial court today.
Six other people inside the home were arrested but, released without charges.
