High school attendance notification no longer working

Parents of high school students in Fort St. John are no longer being informed every time their teenager skips class.

North Peace Secondary School says its old phone system, which would call parents if their children missed one or more classes that day, has been dysfunctional since the start of the school year.

Parents must now call the school if they want to know if children have missed classes that day.
