Investigators from INSET are continuing to follow leads regarding two separate explosions at natural gas pipelines. During the course of the investigation a male surfaced who had five outstanding warrants for his arrest.

This male was arrested in Grande Prairie, Alberta and was transported to Dawson Creek, BC. The male is being identified as 21-year-old Kelly Lake resident Ian Lloyd GLADUE. At the time of his arrest he was wanted for fail to comply with conditions and two counts of obstructing a police officer out of Chetwynd, and one count each of sexual assault and uttering threats out of Kelly Lake. GLADUE is currently in custody in Dawson Creek, but will not be making a public court appearance until Monday morning because the Dawson Creek Provincial Court is closed today.

Investigators will not be making any public comments to either confirm or deny if GLADUE is a person of interest or a suspect in the investigation. He is being held under the authority of the outstanding warrants and no new charges have been requested by police.

Tips from the public are still being requested by investigators. Anyone with information is asked to call the dedicated tip line at 1-866-994-7473.
