Imperial Oil spent the afternoon Friday handing out donations to local charities.

The corporate donations ranged in size from $250-$1,000, with 21 groups receiving the donations. The monies came from Imperial Oil’s Boundry Lake Operation. One of the groups that received a donation was Kids Sport. Byron Stewart with Kids Sport says the money will go towards making sure all children in Fort St. John have access to sports. Kids Sport supplies under privileged children with the money to help pay registration fees for a number of different sports in Fort St. John.
