The NPSS Ookapiks girls volleyball team is back on track at the Spruce Grove Panthers invitational tournament.

After suffering a rare loss in their third game of the tourney against the Stony Plain Marauders in three sets (25-17, 21-25, 13,15), the girls beat a team from Bergen, Norway (25-13, 25-20).

Next up is a Saturday morning game against the Winnipeg Westwood Collegiate Warriors.

The NPSS boys team isn’t faring as well in Spruce Grove, losing to the Edmonton Christian Lions (25-13, 25-12), Sherwood Park (25-12, 25-17), and Bergen, Norway (25-14, 25-15).

The tourney wraps up on Saturday evening.
