Northern Lights College has announced the recipients of two of its financial awards for students in the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering program.

Tyrone Gregg is the recipient of the Duane Sunderman Memorial Award, while Jonathan Isenring was the recipient if the Erich W. Lehmann Memorial Bursary/Scholarship. The awards both celebrate achievement in the AME program at Northern Lights College. The students received their awards October 8th.

The college is also currently accepting applications for two other awards: the William and Mary Wanka Art Promotion Fund and the Paul Dampier Endowment Award.

Community Interviews with Moose FM


The Wanka award, valued at $1,200, can be awarded to any resident of the NLC region who wants to complete a project that promotes art at the College or in the community.

The Dampier award, valued at $2,000, is awarded to any resident of the NLC region who wishes to submit a project with a focus on adult education. The deadline for both awards is November 30th.
