NLC offers prospective students a "test drive" of college life

High school students in Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Fort Nelson will again have the opportunity to test-drive college life this year as Northern Lights College once again presents “Experience NLC”.

The program allows local high school students to spend a day at a Northern Lights College campus to see what a typical post-secondary student’s day is like. Depending on what field the student is considering, they can select from a number of sessions offered during the program.

The college says many of the students who attended the event last year are now in classes at NLC. To that end, the college has opened the program to all members of the general public who might be considering going back to school.

The program will be held in Fort St. John on October 16th. Preregistration is required. The college has more information at nlc.bc.ca.
