BC Hydro is reporting 3 power outages currently afflicting the Fort St. John / Charlie Lake area.

The first affects 46 customers along Golf course road to the west of Charlie Lake, no word yet on the cause of that outage or when power is expected to be restored.

A second, affecting 136 customers, a little further west, near Bear Flat, was caused by a wind storm, and is expected to be restored at 11 am.

And finally, an outage northest of the Halfway river reserve, has affected 264 customers – at this point hydro is only saying the cause is under investigation, and power is expected back at 11:30 am.

4 more power outages, affecting more than 1000 customers yesterday, have been reported solved by Hydro, all four caused by a weekend wind storm, while a small outage on the Airport road on Sunday was caused by a motor vehicle accident.
