Pipeline Bombing – Appearance by Ian Gladue put over until Tuesday

The 21-year-old BC man arrested in Grande Prairie, by the unit investigating two recent BC Peace pipeline bombings was scheduled to make a Dawson Creek court appearance this morning.

However he did not appear in person and the case was put over until Tuesday. The judge moved proceedings until Tuesday in order to get more information from Crown Counsel.

Police are still saying that Ian Lloyd Gladue, of Kelly Lake, has not been charged in connection, with the Encana pipeline bombings. The RCMP released the bombing sites back to Encana last weak and, the pipelines have been repaired and are back in service.

Gladue faces charges of obstructing a Chetwynd police officer, sexual assault, uttering threats and, failing to comply with bail conditions.

Meantime, the Mounties are still looking for public assistance in connection with the pipeline bombings at 1-866-994-7473.
