Although Hydro said power should be restored by 6pm tonight, the lights still aren’t on.
BC Hydro has not given any updates as to when power should be restored, but is has been restored power to a few of the 1,300 customers that spent most of the afternoon without power. The lights went out between 12pm and 1:30pm Wednesday afternoon all west of Fort St. John.
The outages are as follows:
East of the Red CR RD 658 – 40 Customers – Tree Down across wires – Power on at 4:30pm
South of RD 256, West of RD 277 – 196 Customers – Tree down across wires – No estimated time for power to be restored
North-South-East-West of Alaska Highway – 264 Customers – Wind Storm – Power will be back on at 6pm
South-West of Alaska Highway, North-East of Highway 29 – 196 Customers – Tree Down across wires – Power will be back on at 6pm
