**Update the Ministry of Environment has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Taylor – Click Here for Details**

Taylor Fire Chief Dan Leighton says the Ministry of Environment has told him the smoke is likely coming from a burning on a farm downriver, possibly as far away as the Alberta border.

Chief Leighton says he’ll have to wait to hear back from the Ministry of Environment to know precisely what the smoke is from, and when it might stop coming.
