Speed Limit reduced on 106th St.

The Speed limit on a local road has been reduced for the safety of C.M. Finch Students.

For some time, concerned parents have been asking the city for a sidewalk to be built on 106th street, between 100th and 110th Avenues.

At this point, it’s too late in the season for any construction to begin, and even the painting of a yellow line has been postponed.

And so, in the meantime, the speed limit on 106th has been dropped from 50 to 30 kilometres an hour, effective immediately.
