Police are reporting two young people have died after a quadding accident in Taylor.

Officers were called just after 9pm last night to the Big Bam road after a 22-year-old male and a 16-year-old female who set out together on a quad at approximately 7:30pm that night had failed to return. The RCMP found the quad and its two passengers down an embankment next to the Big Bam Road. Both were deceased.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, but say neither of the deceased were wearing helmets at the time of their accident. They also suspect alcohol as a contributing factor in the accident.
